INDUSTRY – Selectman Robert Geisser and SAD 9 Director Mark Prentiss are running unopposed for three-year terms, Town Clerk Angel Davis said.
The town meeting will begin with voting from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the town hall, she said.
Voters will take up the remaining 39 warrant articles at the same place beginning at 2 p.m.
Davis said she doesn’t see any item that is controversial.
“The request for the truck account has been dropped by $5,000 due to the new truck we got at a special town meeting in January,” she said. “Winter roads is up by $15,000. The cost of salt is way up and we keep overdrafting that account so (selectmen) boosted it up.”
Voters will be asked to appropriate $100,000 for the care and maintenance of summer roads and $75,000 for winter roads, according to the warrant.
The town garage tool account is down by $500, because there was some money remaining last year and selectmen did not think as much was needed this year, Davis said.
