LEWISTON – A funeral Mass honoring the life of Fernande L. Juneau was celebrated on Saturday at the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul. The Rev. Normand Carpentier, Fernande’s nephew, celebrated the Mass.
During Mass, a reading was provided by Fernande’s niece and goddaughter, Carmen White, and the intercessions were read by a nephew, Mark Carrier. The offertory was brought to the altar by a niece and her husband, Jeannine and Ray Plourde.
Words of remembrance were expressed by Fernande’s granddaughter, Susan Ropacki, grandson Kevin Juneau, and daughter-in-law Jolene Juneau.
Pallbearers were grandsons, Michael Juneau, Kevin Juneau, Jason Juneau and Thomas Legendre. A reception was held at Marco’s Restaurant after the funeral Mass. Committal services will be held at a later date at Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Augusta.
