OTISFIELD – Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Fitts of Longmeadow, Mass., and Ocean Park are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Kristen E. Fitts of Old Orchard Beach, to Adam Vaillancourt of Old Orchard Beach, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Vaillancourt of Otisfield.

Miss Fitts is a graduate of Longmeadow High School in Longmeadow, Mass., and St. Lawrence University in Canton, N.Y. She is the assistant director of development for the Center for Grieving Children in Portland.

Mr. Vaillancourt is a graduate of Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School and the University of Maine School of Business. He is a benefits specialist with the Todd Benefits Group in Saco.

The couple was engaged in April of 2008 and they are planning a May wedding at the York Golf and Tennis Club in York.
