A Mass of Christian Burial for Florence M. Blanchard was celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday March 16, at the Parish of the Holy Savior. The Rev. Angelo LeVasseur was the celebrant. George Gionet was the altar server. Mark Belanger was the organist. Music selections were Ave Maria, Here I Am Lord, Let There Be Peace on Earth, and Amazing Grace sung by Elaine Michaud. Readings were done by Andrea and Paul Fanos.
The eulogy was given by her son in law Kim Gamache. Gift Bearers were David Tozier and Mark DeSio.
Spring interment will be in the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Augusta. A reception followed in the parish hall. Relatives and friends may pay tribute to Florence at www.mem.com Services were under the care of SG Thibault Funeral Home, 250 Penobscot St., Rumford.
