AUBURN – Auburn Recreation is offering two softball leagues again this season.

Games are played Sunday afternoon and evening. The league will hold its preseason meeting Tuesday, April 14 at 6 p.m.
The Players League is open to players 18 and up and is ideal for the experienced player, allowing for the skill and game knowledge of older players to shine. The league typically plays one game per week for a 14-game season.
The league utilizes a Worth Blue Dot ball or equivalent, and teams are limited to two home runs per game. Regular season will be followed by a double-elimination tournament. Games are played Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Preseason meeting is Tuesday, April 14 at 7:30 p.m.
Rosters must have a minimum of 14 players and a maximum of 20, with a simple majority being Auburn or Lewiston residents. Proof of residency is required for Twin Cities players. Businesses may enter a team under the industry clause, which waives the residency requirement.

Players fee is $750 for the season. There is a required minimum deposit of $200, and teams must be paid in full by the start of the season.
