LEWISTON – Patty McKenzie-Baril, 46, a resident of Back Street, Hebron, died unexpectedly Monday, March 16, at Central Maine Medical Center with her family by her side.
She was born in Lewiston, Nov. 24, 1962, the daughter of Robert E. and Ethel (Dyer) McKenzie Sr. She attended Auburn schools, and was a 1980 graduate of Edward Little High School. She then went on to further her education at Mid-state College.
After her graduation, she became a financial administrator for many years at Hebron Academy until 2006. She then became a self-employed personal administrator as well as running her own favorite position owning “Monhegan Moment” which was an online sales company of her art and keepsakes which represented her great love for Monhegan Island.
The No. 1 focus of her life was her daughter, Samantha, who is finishing her junior year at Pace University in New York City.
Survivors include her mother, Ethel McKenzie and her daughter, Samantha Baril, both of Hebron; two brothers, Jeff McKenzie and his wife, Patty, of Sabattus and Rodney McKenzie of Hebron; three sisters, Cindy Jordan and her husband, Roy, of Hebron, Sheila Morrison and her husband, James, of Auburn and Pam Cyr and her husband, Ron, of Hebron; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her father, Robert E. McKenzie Sr.; and two brothers, Robert E. McKenzie Jr. and Timothy McKenzie Sr.
