LIVERMORE FALLS – Funeral services with full military honors were held for Richard F. Mitchell Sr. on Sunday at Finley Funeral Home. Officiating was the Rev. Lloyd Leeman. Special memories were shared by his daughter, Cathi Howell. The song “Tears From Heaven” was sung by granddaughter, Laura Howell, accompanied by grandsons, Cody and Cameron Mitchell on guitars. Military honors were performed by the Maine Military Funeral Honors Programs from Camp Keys in Augusta. Zachary Richards played “taps.” Members of the local military organizations served as color guard and firing squad. Spring interment at True Cemetery in Livermore. An after service luncheon was held at the Eaton Memorial United Methodist Church in Livermore Falls.
