JAY – Only one office is being contested in town and school board elections set for April 27. Three water district seats had no takers.
Incumbent Selectman Amy Pineau Gould is seeking another three-year term, Town Clerk Ronda Palmer said.
Incumbent board Chairman Steve McCourt is being challenged by Deric Digiuseppe, for a three-year term on the Board of Selectmen.
School Committee member Tammy Dwinal-Shufelt is seeking re-election to a three-year term. Incumbent committee member Judy Diaz is running for a one-year term on the board.
Nobody took out papers for three- or two-year terms as North Jay Water District trustees or a three-year trustee seat on the Jay Village Water District, Palmer said.
Absentee ballots will be available Friday, March 27.
