LEWISTON – Gerard J. and Alexina D. Theberge of Lewiston were honored Feb. 20 by their children at a 55th anniversary party at the Chick-a-Dee Restaurant in Lewiston.

Mr. Theberge and the former Alexina Auger were married by the Rev. Gilbert Patenaude at St. Louis Church in Auburn.

They are the proud parents of eight children, which has brought them eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Mr. Theberge was the owner and operator of Harbor House Furniture and prior to that was the manager of the furniture and appliance department at Peck’s Department Store for 32 years, where the couple originally met. Both are currently retired and reside in Lewiston.
