WALES -Sandra and Gerald Tardiff of Sumner are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Christine Leighton of Wales, to Danny Libby of Wales, son of Norma Libby of Wales and Florida and the late Richard Libby.

Miss Leighton is a graduate of Edward Little High School and is currently an accounting major at Andover College/Kaplan University in Lewiston. She is employed at PropSys Real Estate Management in Lewiston.

Mr. Libby is a graduate of Oak Hill High School and retired from the U.S. Navy. He is a letter carrier for USPS in Lewiston.

The wedding will be held at 1 p.m. Aug. 2 near a lake.
