FARMINGTON – Michelle Dunlap has been named director of patient financial services at Franklin Community Health Network.

In her new position, Dunlap has management responsibilities relating to patient admissions, patient billing and collections, and for assuring regulatory compliance. In addition, she is responsible for identifying innovative approaches to enhance staff performance and patient satisfaction.

She has 23 years experience in patient financial services. Prior to coming to Franklin Community Health Network, she was director of health information management, patient financial services, and patient registration at Inland Hospital in Waterville. She has also held management positions at Phoenix Children’s Hospital in Phoenix, Ariz., and Sebasticook Valley Hospital in Pittsfield.

She lives in Norridgewock with her husband, adult daughters and granddaughter.
