CARIBOU (AP) – Authorities say a 42-year-old Cape Elizabeth man suffered serious injuries after losing control of his snowmobile and hitting a beaver dam in northern Maine.
The Maine Warden Service says Christopher Robichaud was riding with family members on an ungroomed trail Saturday morning in Caribou when his machine hit the dam and then crashed into a tree.
He was transported to Cary Medical Center in Caribou, where wardens say he underwent treated for injuries to his head, neck, face and shoulder.
