BETHEL – On Sunday, April 5, musicians from the local area will perform at the Telstar Jamboree Concert benefiting Bryce Walker and Tyler Clough, two SAD 44 students suffering from cancer.

Performers include Dave Rowe; Jewel Clark and Donnie Katlin; Rolly York; Ross Timerberlake; Amy Green; Wendy Green; the Telstar Middle School Faculty Band; Lazarus with Mike Prescott; Late for Assembly, featuring Doug Alford and Jim McLaughlin; and Telstar Middle School’s sixth-grade sensation Myth.

Walker, a senior at Telstar High School, is currently battling leukemia and travels to the Barbara Bush Treatment Center for Children in Portland on a regular basis. Clough, a third-grader at Crescent Park Elementary School, is suffering from bone cancer in his leg and travels to Portland and Boston for treatment.

The 2 p.m. performance will be held in Helen Berry Auditorium. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for students and children under 10. All proceeds will go to help the families with medical expenses. For more information, contact Kevin O’Reilly at 824-2136, ext. 501; oreillyk@sad44.org.
