LEWISTON – A celebration of life service honoring the life of Paul T. Renaud was held Monday at the Pinette & Lynch Funeral Home with Chaplain Bertha Jacqmin presiding. During the service words of remembrance were shared by Paul’s son, Michael Renaud as well as Paul’s grandchildren, Melina and Austin Renaud. The song, “The River” by Garth Brooks was played during the service in Paul’s honor. Delegations in attendance at the service were members of the Auburn Police Department, Lewiston Police Department, Androscoggin County Sheriffs Department, the Androscoggin County District Attorney’s Office, and the Monday Morning Seniors Bowling League and Travel League of Good Times Lanes in Lisbon. Before the conclusion of services, Carl Douglas and Arthur Roy of the Auburn VFW Post stood at attention during the playing of “taps” and then Auburn Police Chief Philip Crowell presented our country’s flag to Paul’s wife, Josiane, for her husband’s combined 40 years of service to his country and to the Auburn Police Department. At the conclusion of services, all were invited to a reception of fellowship at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Pierre Renaud in Lewiston.
