LIVERMORE FALLS – Seven applications have been received for the SAD 36 superintendent’s position.

The school district has been operating under the guidance of interim Superintendent David Wallace and interim assistant Superintendent David Bois since former Superintendent Terry Despres resigned in January. The latter cited personal and medical reasons for leaving.

A search committee is screening the applications.

A final candidate is expected to be recommended to the school board at its meeting on Thursday, April 23.
