PORTLAND – David Barrett and Pat Jackson scored two goals apiece to lead Bates to a 13-5 men’s lacrosse victory over Southern Maine on Tuesday.
The Bobcats (2-5), who have won two of their last three games, received goals from 11 different players in the rout over the Huskies. Bates enjjoyed a 53-31 advantage in shots, with Adam Scharff and Rich Bedford sharing net duties.
Preston Gilbert and Chris Gassman scored twice for USM (3-2).
