Distribution day
AUBURN -Auburn AC Serve, part of Serve New England’s food and volunteer program, will hold Distribution Day from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 28, at the Auburn Advent Christian Church, 263 Turner St., Whitney Street entrance. Registrations for April also will be taken.

OES to install
LISBON FALLS – Pioneer Chapter 11, Order of the Eastern Star, will hold installation of officers at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 26, at the Lisbon Falls Masonic Hall, Route 196. Past Grand Matron Rebecca S. Bibber and Past Patron Roland Morgan will be the installing officers.
Worthy Matron Josephine Dupal and Worthy Patron Samuel Kelly and their officers will be installed. Refreshments will be served after the meeting. The installation is open to the public and anyone interested in learning more about Eastern Star is welcome to attend.

LEWISTON – Community Concepts will participate in the Affordable HealthCare Fair from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 27, presented by St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center at the Lepage Conference Center, 99 Campus Ave.
Community Concepts will highlight its Elder Rides program and provide information for residents who have difficulty finding transportation to dialysis, chemo and radiation therapy appointments.

Seniors to meet
SABATTUS – Sabattus Seniors will have a baked ham meal on Thursday, April 2, at Maxwell Hall. To sign up, call Doris at 784-7950. A meeting will follow and bingo may end the day.

Stroke screening
AUBURN – Residents living in and around the Auburn community can be screened to reduce their risk of having a stroke or bone fracture. Life Line Screening will be at the High Street Congregational Church, 106 Pleasant St., on Tuesday, April 21. Appointments will begin at 10 a.m.

Camp activities
AUBURN – Modern Woodmen has announced two activities for April:
Camp 8794: Saturday, April 18, 5 to 6 p.m., roast pork dinner, St. Louis Church, 80 Third St., Auburn. Cost is $4.50 for adults, $1 for children under 12.
Camp 13085: Thursday, April 16, 3 to 7 p.m., Chick-A-Dee Restaurant, Route 4, Turner, menu provide when tickets purchased. Cost is $7 each person.
Tickets for both activities must be picked up at Modern Woodmen, 67 Minot Ave., from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday, or call 783-8804 or 1-800-561-8506.
Bridge results
LEWISTON – The Lewiston-Auburn Social Bridge Club winners at the Multi-Purpose Center on March 23 were as follows: first, Luke Merry and Rosemarie Goodwin; second/third tie, Nancy Lindgren and Paul Sherman with Pete Cummings and Dick Allen; fourth, Marta Clements and Errol Libby; first in B, Cindy and Bob Kircherr.
Games are played at 9 a.m. Mondays and Tuesdays and at 6:30 p.m. Wednesdays at Schooner Estates in Auburn. A partner is guaranteed.
The quarterly club championships will be played at all games next week.
