This is in response to the story “Promo girl” in the Sun Journal March 15. I quote, “They put us up in really nice condos, fed us, clothed us – anything we needed, it was ours, plus $350 for going to bars and talking people into drinking Jack Daniels.”

That sounds to me like the same tactic a good pimp would use. Dress them in short skirts, skimpy tops, cowboy hat – the perfect American girl.

Those girls are also trained to skirt the laws of a state with their alluring freebees, cool T-shirts, hats and fancy beads.

“You never go to a promotion (in a bar) alone,” – I wonder why.

It is not surprising that such girls are often mistaken for being homewreckers. They are trained to seduce the clientele; to sell their wares.

I’m sure that if those same women were promoting a new brand of diapers, they would not be wearing short skirts and fancy beads to seduce mothers into buying that product.

Shame on the Sun Journal for placing that story for young adults to read. The young woman’s necklace (in the picture) says it all. That story was X-rated.
