NORWAY – The heritage art of traditional rug hooking will be taught at the Lajos Matolcsy Arts Center, 480 Main St., from 1 to 3 p.m. March 28, April 4 and 11.

The project is titled “For Mom” and the kit includes all needed to hook a spring table mat for a mother or a loved one. After these classes are complete, the center will offer “For Dad” and the kit will include all needed to hook a fish mat.

Anyone interested in rug hooking is invited to join for hook-ins, held at the same time as classes, from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturdays. For more information, call Brenda Ellis Sauro at 743-7744.
