SABATTUS – Lt. Carl W. Foster has announced his retirement after 23 years of police service.

Foster began his career in Auburn and then spent 20 years with the Sabattus Police Department. Members of the Sabattus force will celebrate his service on Saturday, March 28.

According to Chief Thomas P. Fales Sr., Foster has said his next adventure will be fishing the waters of Alaska.
