In schools kids complain about many things. One thing that is thought poorly of is school lunches. Some kids have “special food needs” like vegetarian or vegan, or even allergic reactions to some foods. Most school have options for those kids. What about the kids who don’t like taco’s or chili, schools serve those foods to give kids a choice, but what happens when you don’t like it and there isn’t another substitute? Kids have different approaches to this controversy, some bring there own lunch and others tough it out while some don’t eat lunch at all. Schools also handle this in different ways, obviously schools don’t have enough money in these tough economic times to have a different meal for each kid. Some schools have other options like always having peanut butter and jelly, or a salad bar. Anyway you look at it, there will always be one kid who complains but since there are options the choice is open to each kid. What will you have for lunch? You decide.
