OXFORD – The wedding of Rebecca Ann Redman and Christopher Russell Tyler was held at 11 a.m. on Sept. 27 at Grace Fellowship Church in Oxford. Pastor Lloyd Waterhouse officiated at the ceremony. The mother of the bride sang “I Will Be Here.”
Mrs. Tyler is the daughter of Harold and Judith Redman of Jay. Mr. Tyler is the son of Blaine and Josephine Bradeen of Auburn.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a long satin gown with iridescent beading and sequins around the neckline and a floor-length train. She carried a bouquet of burgundy mums and pink and white carnations.
A sister of the bride, Christina Redman, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Sammy Jo Tyler, niece of the bridegroom, and Nicole Redman, sister of the bride. Abigael Redman, niece of the bride, was flower girl.
A friend of the bridegroom, Todd Piper, served as best man. Ushers were Christopher Redman, brother of the bride, and Travis Reisner, friend of the bridegroom. Isaiah Redman, nephew of the bride, was ring bearer.
A reception followed at the church, after which the couple traveled to North Conway, N.H. They are residing in Auburn.
The bride is a 1994 graduate of Dirigo High School and is employed at Wendy’s Restaurant in Auburn.
The bridegroom is a 1992 graduate of Dirigo High School and is employed at Hannaford Bros. in Auburn.
