Auction, bake sale

WILTON – The Wilton Early Childhood Center auction and bake sale will be held Friday, April 3, at the Cushing School. Items to be auctioned can be viewed at 6 p.m., with the bidding starting at 6:30. Adrian Harris will be auctioneer. Money raised will help support the play group and preschool classes offered by the center.

Blacksmith group

WILTON – The Western Maine Blacksmith’s Association will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 6, at the Wilton Historical Society. There will be discussion of upcoming events and new projects.

It will be the first meeting at the Wilton Historical Society building since December and the association will be back to its normal schedule in April. The program will be ” Back to the Basics.”

Open forge nights will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and Friday, April 14 and 24, in the forge room at the Wilton Historical Society building. Visitors are welcome.

Easter bread sale

FARMINGTON – The annual Easter bread sale will be held on Saturday, April 11, at Twice Sold Tales Bookstore, Main Street, sponsored by St. Luke’s Episcopal Church.

Traditional breads, sweet breads, cinnamon buns, hot cross buns and coffee cakes will be available. The sale will begin at 9 a.m. and continue until noon or sold out.
