Dear Sun Spots: I used to be able to get Laura Ingraham every morning at 9 a.m. on 1310 AM, but I haven’t been able to get her lately. Is she still on the air and if so what station? Thank you. – No Name, No Town.

Answer: According to a March 10 release from Portland-based Maine’s Talk Radio 970 WZAN, Laura Ingraham can now be heard on that station, along with Michael Savage, Don Imus and Sean Hannity. Try tuning in to her show from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 10 p.m. to midnight on Sundays.

According to her Web site, The Laura Ingraham Show was launched in 2001. A graduate of Dartmouth College, Ingraham worked as a speech writer in the final two years of the Reagan Administration at the White House, the Department of Transportation and the Department of Education. She graduated from the University of Virginia School of Law, served as a law clerk and also worked as a criminal defense attorney.

Dear Sun Spots: Thanks to Sun Spots for placing our request in 2008, it was a great success for our spring sale.

Again this year Townehouse at 74 Lake Auburn Ave. will have our spring fling, which is a fundraiser for our tenants’ association. We will have raffles, books, puzzles, crafts, jewelry and many other items, also a bake sale.

This will take place between 8:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. Saturday, May 2, in our Community Room.

Also with the help of Sun Spots readers, friends and neighbors, we are looking for a medium sized piano to replace our upright older model. Please call Sue at 782-5086. Thank you. – Susan, Auburn.

Dear Sun Spots: My name is Emily Theriault. I’m 14 and I have been accepted to be a student adviser and travel with People to People in Italy and Greece.

We will study ancient and modern civilizations. This will also count as credit and be an excellent addition to my college applications.

I am asking for donations as the cost of this trip is $6,499 and the bulk of the money is to be raised through donations and fundraising. Anyone wishing to help may send checks or money orders made out to People to People. Mail to Emily Theriault, 283 Heath Hill Rd., Sumner, ME 04292. Anyone with questions may call 388-3330 or check out the Web site at www.studentambassadors.org. Thank you very much. – Emily, Sumner.
