MONMOUTH – Garrison Beck of Monmouth, a senior at Monmouth Academy, has been selected to receive the 2009 Principal’s Award, Principal Scott Bell has announced. The award, sponsored by the Maine Principal’s Association, is given in recognition of a high school senior’s academic achievement and citizenship.
Bell said, “His efforts as a school leader will have a lasting impact on the entire school community for years to come, and he is very deserving of this recognition.”
“Throughout his years at Monmouth Academy, Beck has distinguished himself in the classroom, on the playing field and as a leader in the school and the community,” Bell noted in making the award.
“He very much deserves this recognition.”
Beck and Bell will attend an Honors Luncheon on Saturday, April 4, at the Spectacular Event Center in Bangor.
