PORTLAND (AP) – Air Tran Airways says it plans to offer seasonal service between Portland International Jetport and Atlanta.

The Portland Press Herald reported Thursday that the carrier will operate one daily nonstop flight to and from each city between June 11 and Sept. 8. Air Tran will fly Boeing 717-200 aircraft, which seat 117 passengers.

The airline is offering an introductory one-way fare of $89, if purchased by April 16, for travel by June 25.
