PORTLAND – On Saturday, April 18, The Gold Room will transform itself into a Louisiana roadhouse with two of Maine’s veteran blues bands coming together to call attention to domestic violence.

Performing will be Pam Baker and her SGs, who have maintained a steady club schedule and performed at festivals and events around New England; and Jimmy Junkins and the Soulcats, who have been cranking out blues since the early ’90s, performing in blues joints and on festival stages.

Tickets are $10 with a percentage of proceeds going to The Maine Coalition to End Domestic Violence. The Gold Room is at 512 Warren Ave.
