BOSTON (AP) – It’s not “Crazy” talk, it’s absolutely true: Grammy Award winner Seal will sing the national anthem at the Boston Red Sox season opener.

The Red Sox take on the AL champion Tampa Bay Rays on Monday at Fenway Park. Seal is in town that day as part of his North American tour in support of his latest album SOUL.

Seal is a three-time Grammy winner whose best-known songs include “Crazy,” “Kiss from a Rose” and “Don’t Cry.”

Monday’s opening day festivities also will include performances by Keith Lockhart and members of the Boston Pops of “God Bless America” and “Take Me Out to the Ball Game” during the seventh-inning stretch.
