OXFORD – Christopher and Cynthia Cummings of Oxford are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Kerrie Cummings, to Travis Jalbert of Lewiston, son of Michael and Liane Jalbert of Lewiston.

Miss Cummings graduated from Oxford Hills High School in 2001. In 2005 she graduated from the University of Maine at Farmington, earning a degree in early and elementary education. She is currently teaching special education in Auburn.

Mr. Jalbert graduated from St. Dominic Regional High School in 2002. In 2006 he graduated from Colby-Sawyer College in New London, N.H., with a degree in exercise and sports science. He is currently teaching health at Fred C. Wescott Junior High School in Westbrook. Mr. Jalbert is also the varsity ice hockey coach in Westbrook.

The couple will be married May 15, 2010, at Holy Cross Church in Lewiston, followed by a reception at Spring Meadows Golf Course in Gray.
