LEWISTON – Announcement is made of the engagement of Sarah J. Elie and Jeremy J. Bennett.

Miss Elie is the daughter of John and Karen Goodwin of Lewiston and Jonathan and Melissa Elie of Leeds. She earned her bachelor’s degree in social and behavioral sciences from the University of Southern Maine and is proudly employed by the Maine Centers for Disease Control’s HIV/STD/Viral Hepatitis program and the Lewiston STD Clinic, as a disease intervention specialist.

Mr. Bennett is the son of John and Oksana Bennett of Auburn. He earned his bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Montana and is employed by Hearst Communications as a multi-media consultant.

An elegant wedding ceremony and reception will be held on Aug. 15 at the Portland Regency Hotel.
