AUBURN – Ronald Laurier Hemond and Sharon Kay Galloway were united in marriage on June 14 at the East Auburn Baptist Church in Auburn. Pastor Roger Cousineau officiated at the 11 a.m. ceremony.

The bride was escorted down the aisle by her brother, Leonard Evans of Pilesgrove, N.J. Patricia Hephler of Richardson, Texas, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Jennifer Galloway of Hartford, daughter-in-law of the bride, Cheryl Peterson of Turner, niece of the bridegroom, Sylvia Cozart of Leeds, friend of the bride, and Judy Evans of Pilesgrove, N.J., sister-in-law of the bride.

Marc Casavant of Lewiston, long-time friend of the bridegroom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Tim Peterson of Turner, Joshua Galloway of Hartford, son of the bride, Andy Hephler of Richardson, Texas, brother-in-law of the bride and Leonard Evans of Pilesgrove, N.J., brother of the bride.

A reception followed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Auburn, after which the couple went on a trip to the Hawaiian Islands.

The bridegroom is employed at Maritimes Northeast and the bride is employed at TD Banknorth.

The couple is residing in Auburn.
