What kind of society are we?

We blithely endorse the production, sale and use of beverage alcohol and smoking tobacco.

We promote sales with seductive advertising.

Then we moan and groan when someone is killed by a drunken driver, or someone’s life is shortened by tobacco smoke.

We deserve the ills we bring on ourselves.
