GRAY – Carole Marie Berube Larson, 65, of Gray, died peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, April 5, 2009, following a brief struggle with cancer.

She was born March 10, 1944, in Biddeford, the daughter of Roland and Dixie Berube and grew up in the Biddeford/Saco area, graduating from Thornton Academy in 1962.

As a young woman, she enjoyed singing and dancing and attended cosmetology school. She spent most of her life as a homemaker and nothing pleased her more than the time spent with her children and grandchildren.

She enjoyed many hobbies, which included creative homemade greeting cards, scrap booking, crafts and bird watching. She was a devoted member of the Bible Believing Baptist Church and donated much of her time to church activities and was a member of the choir. The church was her sanctuary and she cherished the many relationships that developed through the years as a member.

She is survived by her husband, Roland A. Larson of Gray; two sons, Matthew LaBranche of Windham and Michael Labranche and his wife, Stacey, of Saco; two daughters, Ericka Cotsis and her husband, Vangel, of Saco and Sara Larson of Scarborough; her mother-in-law, Mary Rose Larson and brother-in-law, Erick Larson; she will also be greatly missed by her seven grandchildren; her cousins, Norma Conroy and Wayne Poulin and their families; and many other extended family members and dear friends.

“My friends and family, no one cared about me like Jesus who gave his life and blood for me.” John Chapter 3 vs. 15 and 16; 15-” That whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.”

16- “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life”

My friends and family, if you don’t know Jesus, I ask you to start praying. I’m at home waiting for my friends and family. I want to see all of you again. Love Caro1e.
