AUBURN – Mary E. Hric, 89, lifelong resident of Lisbon Falls, died Thursday, April 2, at the Hospice House.
She was born May 18, 1919, in Lisbon Falls, a daughter of John and Mary (Frena) Gamrat Sr. She attended schools in Lisbon Falls.
On Sept. 28, 1946, she married John J. Hric Jr. He predeceased her on Oct. 15, 1994.
She had been employed at the Farnsworth Mill, Worumbo Mill and the Carleton Woolen Mill in Winthrop, where she retired in 1981.
She was a communicant of Holy Trinity Catholic Church of Lisbon Falls. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting and gardening.
Survivors include a daughter, Gloria and her husband, Herb Hendricks, of Lisbon Falls; and two nephews, Gary and Glendon Gamrat.
She was predeceased by a sister, Helen Gamrat; and two brothers, John Gamrat Jr. and George Gamrat.
