Dear Sun Spots: We are collecting gently used formal dresses for a prom dress giveaway for girls whose families are having financial hardships and may not be able to go to their proms due to the cost of dresses, shoes, accessories, etc.
We are collecting dresses now for distribution for 2010 prom season. We will also accept any gently worn formal shoes and accessories that may help complete the perfect prom outfits. Answer: In addition to responses from readers, both of these tapes are available on Amazon.com, with prices starting at one penny! You may also want to visit Bull Moose Music in the Lewiston Mall or Video Liquidators at 850 Lisbon St., Lewiston. Both stores buy videos from customers and resell them. Unfortunately, they don’t have lists of their tape inventories, but it would be worth checking them out.
