On Friday, March 6, a Dr. Seuss day was held at Elm Street School! The parade was held for grades Kindergarten through third. The reason for the parade was to celebrate Dr., Seuss’ birthday which was on Monday, March 2!

The four grades made paper bag vests on which they illustrated their favorite books. They took a mini parade down the hall with the vests on, then each student modeled their vest for teachers and their fellow classmates.

They also were allowed to bring in a variety of Dr. Seuss books and their teachers would read them to the class. A fun time was had by all!
