LEWISTON – The Lewiston School Department has announced kindergarten registration dates for the 2009-10 school year.

Parents should call the school for an appointment to register the child.

If unsure of the school a child will be attending, call the school department at 795-4100 or visit the Lewiston Public Schools Web site at http://www.lewiston.k12.me.us and search under schools.

Students who will attend the Geiger School should register at Pettingill School. Parents need to bring the child’s legal birth certificate and record of immunization.

Registrations dates are as follows, all from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. except Montello:

Pettingill School, Monday, May 4.

Longley School, Monday, May 4.

Farwell School, Tuesday, May 5.

Martel School, Thursday, May 7.

McMahon School, Thursday, May 7.

Montello School, Friday, May 8, from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
