LEWISTON – “Managing the Stress of Survivorship” will be the subject of a free telephone education workshop from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 14, for people living with cancer, sponsored by the Patrick Dempsey Center for Cancer Hope and Healing at Central Maine Medical Center.

The teleconference, offered by CancerCare Connect, is the first of three in the seventh annual “Cancer Survivorship Series: Living With, Through and Beyond Cancer.” Similar teleconferences will also be held May 19 and June 23.

Other upcoming teleconference topics will include:

April 23: “Treatment Update on Glioblastoma.”

April 24: “Dental Health During Cancer Treatments.”

April 29: “Breast Cancer and African American Women.”

All conferences will be held from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.
