What is up with the state and local
governments with regard to fixing side roads in the state? It seems
to me that usually it’s only the roads that don’t need fixing that
get worked on. I am fed up with taxes going up, yet the side roads
are not fixed.
The state has millions of dollars in
rainy day and general funds that could be used.
When the state lottery was first
started, some of the money was supposed to go for roads, and some to
help fund schools. So where has that money gone?
It is pretty bad when a driver has to
move to the other side of the road to avoid potholes.
The governor and other elected
officials should get busy and find funds to fix the roads that need
fixing, and stop wasting the public’s tax money.
