Dear Sun Spots: I was looking for a gym I used to belong to called Ladies Workout Express that was at Great Falls Plaza, Auburn. I have not been able to find it and was wondering if they closed or moved. Could you please find out if she has moved and if so, where? – J.B., Lewiston.

Answer: You are in luck, J.B., Sun Spots had the pleasure of speaking with Adriane at Ladies Workout Express and they have moved to 74 Westminster St., Lewiston, (in the Andy Valley Gymnastics building).

The gym has different management and offers an aerobics schedule, which you can find on www.ladiesworkoutexpress.net. Adriane also noted that the facility has two gyms, one for women and one coed facility, that are completely separate. The new facility also offers regular hours, Monday through Friday from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. You may visit the Web site or call the gym for more information at 777-1171.

Dear Sun Spots: Liberty Rebekah Lodge 94 will have the two latest editions of the Maine Rebekah Cookbook available to see and purchase at our fundraiser at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 18, at the First Universalist Church, Unitarian Universalist, 169 Pleasant St., Auburn. The church is handicap accessible from the Spring Street parking lot.

Your article in the March 6 edition of the Sun Journal had a request for one of these cookbooks. Since then, I have received a call about them. At the fundraiser there will be food for sale and a concert by Present Company, a trio of warm, friendly, lovely ladies who will entertain for two hours with country, swing, pop, rock ‘n’ roll, gospel and holiday favorites. The $5 donation will benefit the work of Rebekah Oddfellowship. – Esther, No Town.
