AUBURN – The Central Maine Community College Corporate and Community Services Department will offer Introduction to QuickBooks from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesdays, May 5 through June 9. The cost of the class is $275 and includes textbook and materials.

QuickBooks is the one of the most popular small business computer accounting packages available. Participants will learn how to set up an accounting system for a company, manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, create invoices, bill customers, print checks and create financial statements. A basic understanding of Windows is recommended.

The class will be taught by Caroline Jordan. Jordan has owned several businesses and started her business The Jordan Result, after completing her Master of Business Administration in 2000.

She is adjunct faculty at Central Maine Community College, teaching business and accounting, and is the author of two books, “Stop the Cash Flow Roller Coaster, I Want to Get Off!” and “Strength in Numbers.”
