In an interesting parallel to the Sun Journal editorial April 9, Lou Scolari, recent manager of the Premier League side Chelsea Football Club (soccer), also embraced Sun Tzu’s philosophy from the “Art of War,” but it didn’t work because the players weren’t behind it.
Similarly, state government workers aren’t in favor of private information being disclosed publicly, and I believe municipalities aren’t in favor of losing valuable and necessary funds for public programs.
Let’s hope the Legislature will defend those core values.
