PARIS – The Paris Public Library is soliciting donations for its annual used book sale. The sale, which will be held on Saturdays, July 25 and Aug. 1, with a bag sale on Aug. 8, is a major fundraiser for the library’s children collection. Last year’s sale raised nearly $3,000.

The library’s staff sorts through all contributions to the sale first, removing books useful to the library’s collection. The remaining materials are sold.

Donations may be left any time at the library when it is open, or arrangements can be made for a staff member to pick up contributions.

The library is open from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday, from 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday and from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

For more information or arrange pick-up, call the library at 743-6994 or e-mail [email protected].
