NORWAY – Isabel K. Boyce, 83, of South Paris died Monday, April 20, at Stephens Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Bethel, on May 1, 1925, the daughter of Ceylon and Doris Davis Kimball. She attended Gould Academy and graduated from South Paris High School in 1944. She graduated from Winthrop Community Hospital School for Attendant Nurses in Winthrop, Mass., in 1947.

She had been a licensed practical nurse at Cozy Inn, private duty nursing and at Pineland, retiring in 1993. She had also been summer camp nurse at Tall Pines.

She married Bruce Boyce on Aug. 16, 1946. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting and spending time with her family. She did volunteer work at Central Maine Medical Center and the Maine Veterans homes. She enjoyed some traveling after her husband’s death.

She is survived by her son, Kimball Boyce and his wife, Vicki, of South Paris; a daughter, Sharon Grant and her husband, David, of Bristol, R.I.; seven grandchildren, Christopher Boyce, Jennifer Tripp, Braden Boyce, Michelle Falanga, April Martin, Trevor Boyce and Jamie Thomas; 10 great-grandchildren; a sister, Adele Springer and her husband, Keith, of Texas; a brother, Richard Kimball and his wife, Pat, of East Bethel; a sister-in-law, Joan Kimball of Rumford; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband on May 16, 1994; children, Bradley and Michael Boyce, and Muriel Letourneau.
