LEWISTON – Rita T. Lapointe, 73, a resident of College Road, Lewiston, died unexpectedly Sunday, April 19, at Central Maine Medical Center with family by her side.
She was born in Lewiston, April 30, 1935, the daughter of Albert and Adrienne (Lacroix) Bourque. She married Robert Lapointe in 1955, and he predeceased her in 1993.
She had been employed at Knapp Shoe until her retirement. She was a member of the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul.
Survivors include one brother, Roger Bourque and his wife, Annette, of Florida, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband, she was predeceased by one brother, Bertrand Bourque.
