LEWISTON – The Oxford County and Androscoggin Valley Soil and Water Conservation Districts conservation plant sale order deadline is Monday, May 18.

The descriptions and order form can be found at www.androscogginswcd.net. Those from Oxford County may call 743-5789, ext. 101, and leave a message with name, mailing address, e-mail address or fax number.

Those from Androscoggin or Sagadahoc counties may call 753-9400, ext. 400. All may also e-mail Office Manager Jane Heikkinen at [email protected] if interested in ordering.

Pick-up date will be Saturday, June 6, at the district office, 254 Goddard Road.

Heikkinen said, “Both Oxford County and Androscoggin Valley Soil and Water Conservation Districts are conducting an annual compost bin package and rain barrel sale as a fundraiser. These orders must be received by May 4, with a pick-up date of Saturday, June 6, at district office.”

The proceeds will be used to cover district program costs. All orders must be received and paid for by the respective closing dates. The districts are offering a variety of perennials, fern, groundcovers, fruit trees, ornamental trees or shrubs, buffer plants and fruit bearing plants.
