LEWISTON – A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Monday for Jeannine A. Toussaint at the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, after prayers at The Fortin Group Funeral Home. The Rev. Joseph Daniels officiated, assisted by Brother Irenee Richard O.P. and recited committal prayers at St. Peter’s Cemetery. Proclaiming the readings were her daughters, Sue McMackin and Denise Desgrosseilliers, prayer of the faithful by her son, Robert Toussaint and the offertory procession was brought to the altar by her son, Donald and his wife, Pam. Pallbearers were Jarred and Duane Edwards, Matt and Emily Desgrosseilliers, Jason, Amanda and Chad Toussaint.
