Oxford Hills school names Kelly Bly student of year

PARIS – Each year the Oxford Hills Technical School honors one student for academic excellence, school and community service. Kelly Bly has been named 2009 Career and Technical Education Student of the Year.

Bly is a member of the health science career program and aspires to become a physical therapist. She is in the top 10 percent of her class at Buckfield High School, where she is involved in Student Council, Big Brothers Big Sisters and National Honor Society, is yearbook co-editor-in-chief and class vice president and varsity soccer manager.

This fall she will attend Simmons College where she will study physical therapy. Bly will be honored at a statewide ceremony in May held for all CTE students of the year from the 26 technical schools and centers.
