March 21, is a day that most of us are anxious to see. While small elementary students are happily playing in the snow, there is something we all anticipate. Spring!
We all can’t wait to see crisp green grass, crocuses peaking through the soon to be melted snow, and tiny green buds appearing on the trees. Animals creeping out of hibernation, their newborn offspring peeking out to find a new world beyond the warm caverns they have occupied until this beloved season. Birds return from the south, lizards, amphibians-and reptiles slither from the ground. My dog doesn’t have to shiver in the cold when I take her for a walk, and she loves the warmth!
Oh how I love the spring!
