Teens will explore high-school angst in ‘Uncool’
SALEM – Mt. Abram High School will present “Uncool,” a one-act play about that four-year struggle to climb high school’s social ladder, Thursday, April 30.
For Jenny, Brittany Todd and the rest of their “cool clan,” things are going pretty smoothly at River Ridge High. Then new girl Beth shows up, looking “like a walking kick-me sign,” and suddenly everything changes. Do the friends have what it takes to realize what “cool” is really about?
The play, by Vin Morreale Jr., will begin at 7 p.m. at the high school. Tickets are $5. Refreshments will be available.
